Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains recurring billing, cancellation timing, plan changes, failed payments, and refund handling for Hosting.

Version 1.0Effective October 19, 2026

1. Recurring monthly billing

Unless a plan states otherwise, hosting services are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis. By completing checkout, you authorize recurring charges for the selected service until the subscription is cancelled.

2. Customer cancellation

Customer-requested cancellation normally stops automatic renewal at the end of the current paid billing period. The service remains available through the paid-through date. After the subscription ends, the hosted server and associated managed service data may be permanently deleted as part of normal end-of-service cleanup.

You should download or otherwise preserve any data you want to keep before the paid service ends.

3. No prorated refunds for unused time

Except where required by law or expressly approved by Hosting, cancelling a subscription does not result in a prorated refund or credit for unused time remaining in the current billing period. The customer retains access through that paid period instead.

4. Upgrades

Plan upgrades may take effect immediately when capacity is available. Stripe or another payment processor may calculate and charge a prorated difference for the remainder of the current billing period. An upgrade may require a brief restart of the hosted game server.

5. Downgrades

Plan downgrades normally take effect at the next billing renewal and do not create a refund for the current paid period. A downgrade may be blocked if existing disk usage, backup usage, or other service usage exceeds the limits of the requested lower plan.

6. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Hosting may suspend service and may retain server data for a limited recovery period. If payment is not resolved within the applicable retention period, the server and associated managed data may become eligible for permanent deletion. A successful later payment does not guarantee recovery after data has already been purged.

7. Administrative termination and Terms violations

Hosting may immediately terminate service for serious Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy violations, security threats, fraud, unlawful activity, or other material abuse. Immediate administrative termination may include permanent deletion of managed server data and does not automatically include a prorated refund, except where required by law.

8. Service problems

If you believe Hosting has billed you incorrectly or materially failed to provide a paid service, contact Support promptly with the relevant order, subscription, and issue details. Hosting may provide a refund, credit, or other remedy where appropriate or legally required. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights.

9. Taxes and payment-processor adjustments

Applicable taxes may be calculated by the payment processor based on the information supplied during checkout. Refunds or credits, when issued, may be subject to payment-processor and tax adjustments. Timing for funds to appear on a payment method can vary by financial institution.

10. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact Hosting Support first when practical so the issue can be reviewed. Filing a chargeback does not cancel an active subscription by itself and may result in service restriction while the payment dispute is investigated. This section does not limit any legal right to dispute a charge.

11. Contact

Billing, cancellation, or refund questions should be submitted through the Support area of the Hosting customer Portal.
